Arduino-Code to a man's mind?

I always admired men who had a nack for a handiwork. Trade people always seemed like they knew how to get things done. Almost magical in a way. I found myself on the paying end of things rather than the self-motivated successful side. I was good with electronics and I was a good learner. So I spent my 20's focusing on learning, when that didnt get me very far I started to focus on electronics. I had been interested in computers for many years, but I found the average day to day computing kind of dull and lacking in challenge. Enter Arduino. This is an open platform that allows people to build there own electronics. Perhaps I could take my education and my love for electronics and finally find something that would turn me into a man that was magical. Now Arduino is an open source platform, meaning anyone can add to it. It does require some knowledge of computer programming and some electrical knowledge to get started.....that being said I definitely can say you dont need either of...
